I'm a new user so please forgive my newness. I've tried to import a fixture definition and nothing happens. I click on the import button and the file is greyed out on my desktop. It's from a filing on this forum. Chauvet SlimPar Quad 6. the file ends in qxf. I tried adding "l" and still nothing. What am I missing?

Hi,

you need to copy the qxf file to a so called user fixture directory. Where is it depends on the operating system you use (Windows/OSX/Linux).
See http://www.qlcplus.org/docs/questionsan ... ser-folder (question #5). The fixtures folder is inside the user folder.

Import fixtures allows you to copy fixture patching from one workspace file to another (after you patched/added all your fixtures, export them, open another QXW file and import them).
Saves a bit of work if you have multiple QXW files.
