I've created a fixture definition for the Chamsys MagicHD Media Server version 1.7 which is controlled via an Artnet / DMX universe.
Because it uses a whole Artnet universe with different layers, each layer type is represented by a mode in the fixture and each layer has to be added as one fixture. The final universe should look like this:
Since some channel functions are dependent of other channel values these have no function descriptions in the fixture definition. There's also very special usage of some channels like bitmasks for the HUD-display. There's no way around studying the manual (pdf version). I tried my best to represent the channels with what's possible in QLC+. The channel definition and usage can be found starting at chapter 10 in the manual (manual (html version) - chapter 10).
The free standalone PC version (Linux, Mac, Windows) can be used with one media layer for free using Artnet or with all eight layers in combination with the (also free) MagicQ software.
Since many channels use default values which are required to get some output this simple workspace might help to test it, it sets the default values at startup and can show default demo media:

hi,
I've updated and slightly modified the fixture definition by Daniel and created the new Quick version.
For the moment I cannot test it for real, eventually I'll amend them.
As there are really too many parameters, a strategy is to create the right output in magicQ and dump the scene in qlcplus.
For me, a possible aim is to have the live control of the projection geometries - of course when a real console is not available ;)

Hi,
I've filled the channel definitions as much as possible but they still lack many text descriptions.
The real difference here is that I've changed the default mask file value to 0, so no masking by default.
regards
