Hello,
After looking through the documentation, I'm still not sure if this is possible or if I am simply not using the software correctly. I am trying to build out chasers that I can manually advance during shows using midi triggers. I would like to include sequences as well as static scenes as steps the chasers. However, when I set these up and run the chasers in live mode, the sequences do not seem to run. Are there any tricks to getting this to work or am I just using QLC+ improperly? I have had no luck yet and am willing to put in the time to figure this out myself, but in that case I'd just like to know its possible to do so before I spend that time!
Thanks,
Brian

Brian,
this should be possible (in the sense that it is reasonable to ask that from QLC+), but there may be a bug or design problem so it may not work (yet?).
Can you post your qxw file or an example qxw file so we can see what exactly do you want to achieve (along with all custom qxw files needed to open the qxw)?
I have a busy weekend ahead, so I won't check your file until next week.
I myself want to use chasers within chaser when the outside has inifinite step time so I can manually advance to next, but didn't have time yet to check if that works or not
(so far most probably not).

Hello Jano,
Thank you for your reply and generous offer to look over my file. This is now embarrassing because in my effort to make a new, clean file to send you to clearly illustrate the kind of things I'm looking for, everything seems to now work as expected! So, perhaps my original test files were corrupt or I made some errors? In any case I am attaching my new test file just in case you would still like to see it. However it seems my issue has vanished so please do not waste any of your time if you are busy! I am happy to see that this capability does work. I will continue to work on this and post back if an issue crops up again.
Thanks!
Brian
