Who can pause a Cue List?

Hello,
with the 4.10.4 for linux 64, the pause in a Cue List actually "freezes" only the next Cue, while the previous one will fade out.
I'm wondering how is possible to use this function in a Cue List: if I pause during a 10% cros-fade, I'll end up with the 10% of my next cue that it's practically a black out on stage.

Again, I've loved the Play/Stop in one button for its flexibility with external controllers, in my opinion the Play/Pause button it's a kind of regression.
