Good Chance, I misunderstand the concept.. (I just started to dig into QLC+ ..)..
Here is what I want to do:

Having all cues (functions ?) of a theatrical performance in a cuelist:
• Light changes
• Music and sounds
• Videos

Now it occurs, that there is a video or a sound started and while it is running, lightchanges have to be made. - As I experienced by now, the chaser in the cuelist stoppes the media starting the next cue.
Is there a way to avoid that using the cue list? - Or is there another possibility to achieve such a behaviour in QLC+ ?

Would be very grateful for a directional hint :)

Hi, Welcome to QLC...

As you have found, stepping into a new cue stops the previous cue.
If cues have to run in parallel (ie at the same time) the best way is to have separate cue lists.
one for lights, one for video etc. or use buttons/sliders to start background functions (video etc.) keeping the cue list for lights.

When this is working, and you understand how it works, you can use loopback from the main cue list to drive the other cue lists.

You can have as many cue lists as you want/need, but you might end up needing an octopus as an operator.

Thank you a lot for the superfast answer***

And it cleared a lot...

Fortunately "octopus" is the second name of our light-technician ;)

Best greetings
