RS232 raw output - DMX Frame

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way to get the full DMX512 output frames of a show in a raw format. What i need is just a text file with all the DMX512 data frames of an specific sequence for example. I tried using an RS232 serial monitor while playing the sequence, but my PC crashes continiously. If there is a native way of getting that information i would be very happy. Hope the problem description is clear enough. Thanks in advance.
