(solved) What in a fixture definition controls how fixture appears in 2D DMX view?

Ask a generic question about the usage of QLC+, not related to a particular operating system

I created a new fixture for a custom-cut 7-LED strip. I gave it 21 channels and put 3 channels into each head for a total of 7 heads. The fixture can be controlled properly as I have it configured but in the 2D DMX view, it appears as a 3x3 Matrix.

How I want it to appear is this as a single row (7x1).

What do I need to change in order to get it to preview properly?

Basically, the rectangle that represents the fixture is drawn to scale to represent width and height of the fixture. QLC+ tries then to pack as large heads/circles as possible. So try to adjust width and height in the fixture mode definition.

There is no possibility now to force particular layout except for playing with dimensions.
