Steps to reproduce:

QLC + version 4.10.4

1) Create a chaser
2) Add an MP3
3) Set the hold time to 30s
4) Play the chaser
5) The chaser plays the first 30 sec, then it goes silent
6) QLC + crashes

Thank you,
Julio

Operating system ?

By "hole time" do you mean the duration ?

I just tried on Linux. I can see the issue but QLC+ doesn't crash

You can use "Hold" or "Duration" time; same issue.

For example, when I played the MP3 file for 10s duration:

1) plays for 10 seconds
2) silent for 10 seconds
3) plays from the start
4) QLC + freezes.

Hope this helps,

Julio

I tested on Xubuntu 16.04 QLC+ 4.10.5 from GIT.
1- Chaser with an mp3 5s duration.
Plays well first, on first chaser repeat no sound, on second repeat plays sound normally. No crash.
2-Chaser with an mp3 and a scene with 0 duration.
Plays fisrt step (mp3 file), plays second step, on first chaser repeat first step plays fine. No crash.
3- Chaser with an mp3, scene 0 duration, other mp3 file.
Plays all steps well. On first chaser repeat first step (mp3 file) no sound. Steps second and third plays fine.

It seems that a chaser step with an audio function don't stop or lock system sound on step end. The 0 duration scene after a audio step seem to stop preceding audio function and the next audio function plays well.
