Hello,
I was wondering if someone has some free time, if they wouldn't mind helping me with a RGB Script idea I have been tinkering with. I have limited java/programming experience, but I did manage to create a script using the documentation & examples. The problem is, I am not sure how to implement the rest of the features - or if even what I started is of any "quality". I have used the script the in a few shows with success.
I created a script to replicate a Marquee chase controller. The Marquee effect is like the signs on a theater - often powered with either a 3 or 4 channel chase controller.
Here are some examples:

What still needs finished:
- "Pattern" selection doesn't really work. I think I overflow the matrix.
- "Orientation" I have not figured out how to rotate the matrix yet.
- "Size" The idea here was that instead of a 1-1 pixel resolution, the resolution could be 'n'pixels for every output. (i.e. On a 12 Pixel horizontal light, the marquee effect would break it up evenly into every 3rd or 4th pixel on the light... the size resolution would say that the output per pixel would actually encompass 3 pixels - essentially turning the 12 pixel light into 4 large pixels.)
If anyone would have time to help with this script, I'd be most appreciative. Attached is a sample work space and the script.
Thanks for looking!
