Dear Massimo,
... a few minutes later you'd sent the link. Thank you.
As I mentioned before, the onboard WLAN isn't detected by QLC+, so a "main advance" of the RPi 3 is missed yet.
--- Again, this is only a report, no request! ---
Thank you so much!

Solution for activating the onboard WLAN...
I found the following steps to enable the onboard wifi:
1. Download "brcmfmac43430-sdio.bin" from https://github.com/OpenELEC/wlan-firmwa ... mware/brcm
2. Download "brcmfmac43430-sdio.txt" from the same link... (I copied the ASCII text via the "Raw" button into a blank text file named "brcmfmac43430-sdio.txt")
3. Start the RPi 3 with a fresh copied QLC+ image (onto a SD card) delivered today by Massimo
4. Copy the two files (step 1 and step 2) into the folder "/lib/firmware/brcm" (I used WinSCP to do this)
5. Reboot the RPi 3
6. Via web interface now the onboard WLAN is visible, and you can configure the network interfaces as usual.
I found the solution as a hint in the forum post: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/view ... le#p917456 by Infernosys

Thanks Frank,
that's pretty helpful !
i'm wondering why the proper WiFi driver and firmware are not included in the Wheezy packages though.
Maybe it's just a matter of waiting a few more days and do another apt-get update.
At the moment, the Raspberry Pi foundation is focused on Debian Jessie and I will start to experiment with it as soon as I find some time.
It should (hopefully) improve the boot time a bit, but I need to test all the possible hardware back again (DMX USB, MIDI, SPI, UART, touchscreens, etc...)
Quite a long process I'm afraid...

Hello,
today I QLC+ on my new Raspi 3. And it is working very good. But now i want to use the Raspi 3 as an access point for my tablet. I uploaded the drivers for the wlan device in the folder /lib/firmware/brcm like Frank said. After that I tried this https://frillip.com/using-your-raspberr ... h-hostapd/ tutorial, but i cant get it to work. First thing is, that there is no dhcpcd service running. If I use "service dhcpcd restart" I get an error. In the next step I get some errors, too. The command "/usr/sbin/hostapd /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf" gives me the following error:
Failed to create interface mon.wlan0: -95 (Operation not supported)
Failed to update rate sets in kernel module
Could not connect to kernel driver.
Using interface wlan0 with hwaddr b8:27:eb:ba:48:d7 and ssid 'Pi3-AP'
After that I can see a hotspot on my tablet, but i could not connect.
Maybe you can help me.
Thanks
