Hi,
I got a problem with my FTDI dmx. When i just have the par lights connected there is no problem. When i connect some extra effects mirrorball and scanners the par light are flickering every +- 20/10 seconds. What can i do about this? I also have an entec pro.. this one does not have any problem.
Used with a Raspberry pi 2

Home made adapters or ENTTEC open clones have this issue, cause they are unbuffered. That's why they invented the "pro" adapters.
This topic has been discussed a few times in this forum and apparently a solution is to reduce the number of channels transmitted by the DMXUSB plugin.
