Hi, I have a problem with the MIDI send from FL studio or Ableton and looking for a solution.
When I set midi to my keyboard (Impulse) and presses the keys it auto detects the keys as F#4, F5 etc..
When I record some tracks in Ableton or FL studio and play them, QLC+ constantly blink the joystick even when no keys are pressed (track is playing) and when I try to auto detect keys, it only shows 530:? or 531:?
Why is this happening? What have I done wrong?
IMG MIDI input on QLC+
MIDI settings in Ableton
Thanks!
QLC+ to MIDI with Ableton Live or FL Studio?

1. Can you post your qxw file here?
2. Can you do MIDI dump of what Ableton sends?
530/531 is MIDI Beat Clock, see the table at the end of http://qlcplus.org/docs/midiplugin.html
This is what happens when you check "Sync" in ableton. Most probably you need to check "Track" or both.

Thanks, I have tried with sync + track, and only track with no luck. MIDI-OX is only seeing my keyboard input, nothing happens when I push play in Ableton.janosvitok wrote:1. Can you post your qxw file here?

Picture of keyboard input log from MIDI-OX (and how it's set up in MIDI-OX)
I can upload my qxw tomorrow.
Thanks again.

If MIDI-OX doesn't see anything, then most probably the problem is either in Ableton, in LoopBe or in MIDI-OX...

Never mind, just found out the problem. In FL studio you need to use MIDI out plug-in aswell!janosvitok wrote:If MIDI-OX doesn't see anything, then most probably the problem is either in Ableton, in LoopBe or in MIDI-OX...
I can make a short tutorial next week. I'm sure there are more people wanting to do this

That would be nice since I've been a long-time user of FL Studio and have been wanting to get into MIDI triggering for shows.julianbrennum wrote:Never mind, just found out the problem. Nice! It's works really well, and makes it a lot faster to create a show.fooschnickens wrote:That would be nice since I've been a long-time user of FL Studio and have been wanting to get into MIDI triggering for shows.julianbrennum wrote:Never mind, just found out the problem.
