I am struggling to achieve a smooth transition between the fixed position and the motion of my moving heads. Anyone know how I solve this?
I use mostly buttons to set position (scene) and movements (EFX).

Can you post your workspace and steps to reproduce (what buttons should I press)?

I'm struggling with this as well. The behavior or LTP channels doesn't allow any mixing of the values which makes smooth transitions very hard.
I would like to fade movements in and out, but it seems to be impossible.
Fade times on movements seem to do nothing. Also a movement on a slider simply starts it without any fading.
I've made a simple workspace with simple buttons to demonstrate the problem. It's possible to have smooth transitions between positions, but not between movements.

First, You should avoid using Tilt Fine and Pan Fine channels for what you want. Second in EFX try "Relative" function. To use relative in your situation, create another possition, which will send heads to default possition, and then press desired EFX.

If i want to position a head exacly, i would need Pan Fine and Tilt Fine. I tried not to use it in the positions, but it doesn't help to make the transition smoother.
The "Relative" function makes a movement relative to the previous position. But the transition is still not smooth. Even if i define a default position.
Maybe i still do something wrong. If you have a workspace with smooth transitions between movements please post it. It would help to understand how you did it.

Qlc has some issues while trying fade pan/tilt fine channels. Try one nore thing, maybe it will solve your problem. Remove possition fade times. Create new slider and add to it pan/tilt speed channel. If you set it to low speed, moving heads will run slowly to seccond position. I think it's not best solution. But it helps

Well, that should work if the fixture has a pan/tilt speed channel, but it's really not the best solution.
The Mac 250 Entours were rented and i don't have them anymore. Now i only have Eurolite TS-255 Fixtures, and they don't have a pan/tilt speed channel.

Here is my solution even though it is far from good .
I made a motion. Then I made a position that is equal to the starting position of the movement. Then I made a script with the position first and second the movement. There is a lot of work , but it works.
