animation widget missing plain color

on rgb matrices you can have plain color this option is missing on the widgets.

I would also like to add as a feature request on plain color to have the ability to have dual colors

like even/odd or left right start color could be left end color could be right or start color is even and end color is odd

This is just an example to expand it.

It wouldn't be a plain color anymore then.

What you can already do is use a gradient rgbmatrix, and set the duration to infinite.

While that is an option to use infinite that can add a level of complexity.

having a dual plain color option works alot better without having to use infinite it gives the ability to save a step which can be vital during a show.

Then why don't you write your own rgbscript with 2 colors and only one step ?

Any news on this? Still can't see Plain color in animation widget. OS X, 4.10.2B
