Set fixture mode in advantage - sequence or chaser?

Hi there,

I have a modded Botex sp 1500 strobe including a "mode"-channel. For blinder or single mode you need to set mode channel first, afterwards you can trigger the function using the speed channel.

Whats the best way to implement a "Single Flash"-button in th VC?
From my understanding it would be a scene with a sequence with 2 steps (1. set mode, 2. trigger flash).

My first tries resulted in no output at all,.. Must I create a chaser for this?
