I have created a profile by pressing the pedals using the wizard - so I guess that proves that QLC+ is getting a signal that it understands.
I am very new but I can create scenes and simple chases and some virtual buttons. Where do I make the connection that when I press a midi pedal it triggers a chase or a scene.
I can't find a tutorial for that (that I understand). I think I am really close though!
THanks

Thank you! I got that going - and I discovered something else I would like to know. When I assign the external input (by clicking the automatic button and pressing my pedal), in show mode - each widget on the virtual page is toggle - on/off (ie they stay on even when I press a new pedal/button and I have to press a second time to shut that feature off).
However, there was a pre-build (wizard??) lighting thing called a presets solo frame - and in it - when I assign my buttons, each time I press a pedal - it shuts the previous light off. Whereas on my widgets - they stay on until I toggle them off. How do I program midi so that when I press a new button (pedal) it shuts the previous feature off?
And thanks for this software. It is very intuitive to get going but then can do amazing things.

Thank you so much - solo frames allow only one button at a time - love it. I am so new - and there is so much to take in - that reading documentation can be confusing until I know what all the 'things' are.
I love it and thanks again.
