Hello all, I've created a couple of Christmas light shows in QLC+ and have a couple more in work. I'd like to be able to share some of them with the community to use/change as they see fit. Is it possible to export and import a show in QLC+? I'd share the whole project but I'm still working on it and I think/hope in the end of the day we could get a good collection of shows and people could just import a couple of them and create a great show.
Is this possible?
regards
Eric

Of course you can save/load .QXW files, but I suspect that you are referring only to the data in the "Show" tab. In order for them to be imported/exported between different .QXW files, the fixtures would need to be in the exact same configuration (e.g. channel assignments). Do you think that is likely in your application?

I've looked at a couple of other programs where this is a option. In xlights/nutcracker when you import a show it first pops up a menu asking you to match a existing model to a imported model. I would think that something could be done in qlc+ with matching scenes to existing scenes instead solving the fixture/channel issue. That being said I'm not that great at programming C++ and this is just a idea. Not trying to be pushy to the devs or anything.
I also had another idea from xlights that I think would be good in QLC+ show manager and that to map a scene to new type of track and just control the intensity of the lights in the show manager. Just a idea and it probably would be complex on the engine side but I figured I share the idea
