I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature.

I'm using an LED PAR fixture, with six channels. That fixture has a strobe function which is set with channel 6.

I have a scene, where I set five channels to a non-zero setting: Channels 1, 2, 3 (RGB to 0xFF), channel 4 (brightness to 0xFF) and channel 6 (Strobe speed to 0xD0). This scene is to be accessed via a button from the virtual console. Clicking on the button works fine, but on release, only brightness is reverted to 0x00, the other channels are still at their respective values.

This is a problem, because when I use the fixture the next time, I have to make sure the fixture is not in strobe mode anymore, because I only need the strobe function occasionally. Is that a bug or a feature?

Also, when in Configuration mode, some channels aren't zero. Resetting the Universe doesn't set them to zero. Some channels have to be set to zero via the Simple Desk. Problem is, when I release them from them being forced (clicking the [X] under the fader) the immediately go to their previous setting. This is super annoying, when this happens to the channels where my strobe is. It''ll run the strobe, before I can click "Blackout" for a few fractions of a second. This doesn't seem to happen all the time, though.

I'm not sure if the mistake is on my end. are only "some" faders supposed to be reverted on scene release to their previous value?

What you see is that some channel use HTP (they revert) and LTP (they do not). Search the forum for explanation and solutions.

Another thing is that sliders in virtual console send their value even in design mode. This will be fixed in the next version.
