Hi,
I am trying to create a new fixture definition in OS X for a Laser I recently purchased but it does not appear in the list of fixtures in the lighting controller. I can make the fixture completely fine in the definition editor, save it to the fixtures folder, and have even add it to the .xml file per the recommendation of another post. Despite all this the fixture will not appear in the lighting controller. In another attempt to get this to work I tried to edit an existing fixture and see if it updated with no luck. I could edit the fixture in definition editor but none of the changes appeared in lighting controller. Is there another file I need to update in order to get these changes to take or am I missing something else completely? Any help or guidance is appreciated.

You don't have to copy the fixture in the application bundle.
Use the user folder instead. See the documentation: http://www.qlcplus.org/docs/questionsan ... ser-folder
