I'm new here, so hello!

Trying out QLC+ and downloaded the Windows installer for v4.9.1 and v4.9.0a - trying to run either install, I get a NSIS error:

Code: Select all

Installer integrity check has failed. Common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the installer's author to obtain a new copy.

More information at:
http://nsis.sf.net/NSIS_Error
I wanted to give it a shot before trying to build it from git... tried re-downloading, setting compability mode to Win 7 on those .exe's, no antivirus running...

Anyone seen this before and know of a fix?

Thanks
Brandon

Try to disable your antivirus. Re download new copy and install QLC+, after that you can enable your's antivirus.
Had some issues with avast deep scan.

For whatever reason, it appears to be a possible crappy route between me and QLC+ servers... the file size I ended up with was 2.3MB instead of the 18MB listed on the page. Download was very slow (32kb/sec).

I downloaded it via one of our AWS servers and it was very fast, and then transferred that copy to me instead - install successful.

Really weird, oh well.

You can use a download manager like JDownloader so the files don't get truncated.
