Hi Tasaei, could you provide some gobo information? Your definition contains links to local pictures from your machine which we can't see and there is no document out there showing what the gobos look like and in what order.

Hi,

I've updated the fixture with the gobos. Are we free to use the pics to our hearts content though???

Whats the difference to my fixture?
because i don't see the gobos neither in your fixture , that only works when you have the gobos saved in the right path :/

yes we can use them.

Do you have an official statement from Cameo that allow us to use them ?
If so, please show us.

I have written an email to Cameo asking for permission. Let's see if they reply.

Hi Tasaei,

If we can use them (the gobo images) they will become part of a standard QLC+ install and will be visible to everyone. As they are not yet, yes you do have to put them in gobos/Cameo if you want to use them currently.

Looks like Massimo's had his fingers burnt in the past using images that may be copyright. I imagine it's better posting links to user manuals rather than the actual pdfs on here for the same reason.

Luckily my fingers are still intact for now :)
But I do know for sure there are companies not willing/interested in open sourcing their material.
For example we do not have permission to use any Pantone or Lee Filter naming.
On the other hand sometimes this is ridicolous, cause Pantone/Lee codes can be easily found in public websites.
I guess it's some sort of "for your eyes only" rule...

So , i just took the image from the download side (picture 5 ; http://www.cameolight.com/produkte/led- ... -rgb-60-w/).

Its the official side and "downloadable" for everyone , so that should be a problem , or?

and than i just photoshopped them so that they are white and sharpend.

Downloadable does not mean you can redistribute it :)
