Hi there,
Not sure if I'm missing something but I seem to be have an issue with solo frames. I have 2 different LED lights which I've setup solo frames on the virtual control page so I can change the colour of each light individually. When I change colour using these solo frames it works fine and turns off the previously selected colour as expected.
I've also setup collections to allow me to change the colour of both fixtures at the same time with one button and I have setup a solo frame with buttons to activate these colour collections.
Whenever I click on the colour collection buttons the buttons within the individual solo frames for each fixture are selected ok. Then, when I choose a different colour within these individual solo frames it works fine and turns off the previously selected colour - all good so far. However, when I then press a different colour collection button to change the colour of both fixtures at the same time, the previously selected colour in each of the individual fixture colours is still selected along with the new colour set by the collection.
So for instance, say I have red selected from each individual fixtures colour solo frame and then I click on 'yellow' in the collection solo frame, rather than switching off the red for each individual fixture I get both red and yellow selected giving me orange instead.
Does anyone know if this is how these are intended to work and if so, is there any workaround that will allow the collection to switch off the previously selected button within the individual fixtures solo frame?
Many thanks,
Gordon

Hello,
I don't understand what button is in which solo frame. Can you share a workspace or a screenshot of this configuration ? Thanks.gferguson78 wrote: Not sure if I'm missing something but I seem to be have an issue with solo frames. Many thanks,
A screenshot is attached. The 2 solo frames at the bottom are colour scenes for the individual lights. The solo frame at the top is collections which change both lights to the same colour when a button is pressed. You will see in this screen grab that I have selected blue in the hyperion colours frame and purple in the sweeper colours frame. I then selected magenta in the colour macros frame (the collections) but in each of the solo frames below both colours are now selected.
The solo frames work fine when used on their own, it's only when they are over ridden by the collections that this happens.
Hope this helps.

So, when you click on "magenta" in the top solo frame, you want the "blue" and "purple" buttons in the bottom solo frames to be disabled ?
Do like this:
Put the 2 "little" solo frames inside the "big" one with the collections. (you can do this with ctrl-X ctrl-V)

Thanks for your help. I've just tried putting them all in the same solo frame but it still does the same thing as before. It won't switch off the previous selection in the individual solo frames when I select one of the colour collections. Is there any other settings for this that I'm maybe missing?

Thanks for your help plugz, the workspace is attached. I have a box on the left with a range of collections which are basic scenes which I generally use and then the other controls I use as overrides for these scenes. I notice the same issue with the movements for the moving heads as well.
Have just moved over to QLC+ from using Sweetlight so apologies if there are any major errors in my setup.
Cheers,
Gordon

OK thanks I see the problem.
The solution I proposed is:
- Put the collection-attached buttons in a solo frame
- make this frame bigger
- Put the 2 other solo frames inside this big frame.
What you did is :
- Have 3 solo frames and put each of them in the big frame
You have no button directly in the big solo frame, that's why you have the same behavior as before.

Got it! Perfect, many thanks for your help plugz. I'll do the same thing with the other collections as well.
