Hello, I am new here. A bit of an intro for myself.
I have been looking at qlc for the last month, working around with it to make sure it was foolproof, and the program is.
I've been interfacing Reaper with QLC+ by way of LoopBe.
The problem is this, I have a bit of a random flickering issue. When I start a fading sequence in reaper, the light I am debugging on flickers randomly. So it will be working perfectly, fading in, looking good, and then BAM, a dropped frame. It's like someone takes the intensity slider and slams it to 0 and quickly replaces it.
I have been looking everywhere to try and fix this, I was unable to figure out how to change the default Hz that QLC sends info at, and I am unable to change the Enttec DMX Pro Mk2 frequency.
Thank you for your help, this community is awesome!

Thanks for the reply!
I am running windows 10 x64. The latest version of QLC+, 4.9.1.
And I do have a terminator at the end of my line.
I attempted to add on a second LED light. So far, I have a THINPar64 and an LED light decoder.
When I run both of these guys through, both of them flicker like mentioned before. It's very random, and probably not very noticeable, but noticed by me
Attached is a picture of the MIDI sent from Reaper. You can see there are no gaps. It isn't exact, the flicker happens randomly it seems. The weird thing is, when I run 2 faders at the same time, they flicker differently. The THINPar64 may flicker, but the LED light decoder doesn't, and vice versa.
Also, when I manually adjust the sliders in QLC+, they don't seem to flicker at all.

The values are very fluid and do not flicker when I look at the monitor.

So..
midi from reaper -> QLC+ -> physical lights
=this flickers
manually adjust faders -> QLC+ -> physical lights
=this does not flicker
Here we could think that the issue is reaper->QLC+
but...
reaper -> QLC+ -> QLC+ monitor
=this does not flicker ?
Here I don't know where to look for the issue anymore

Well darn. Thanks for looking into it anyway. It's a very peculiar situation, and it happens on my laptop a lot, but less on my desktop. Weirdest thing.
Thanks anyway
