I have nothing coming out of QLC+. I'm on OS X Yosemite and I use an Enttec OpenDMXusb. I've tried the trick to disable the FTDI in terminal, but it doesn't change anything. My fixture is in the right address, it's enabled in my scene but my Colorado won't do anything.
Any idea someone?
thx

Same problem over here. I did also the trick but nothing happens. Until i did a hard restart by holding down the off button after you deleted the FTDI file. It worked for me but after normally restarting my macbook again i couldnt control it.
Its like Yosemite put the file back or some thing.
Edit: Somehow i tried to delete te file again but is now removed. When i enter the terminal and try to delete the file he says there is no such file! Anyhow i stil cant get an output. It worked only 1 time until i restarted my laptop.

THNX mate. This worked for me. I did a restart and a hard restart (by holding down my off button) and stil my enttec was sending output. Thnx. I did all the things what was said on the thread. Not even the instruction file.
The first trick didnt work at all but this does. Again thnx mate.
PS. Can i delete the files on my desktop or do i have to leave them there?

So you did use the FTDI control app to fix issue? If so I'd save fillies somewhere so you have it when you do mac OS X update. they do not have to start on desktop. If you didn't use it delete it.

Yes i did. However he divined it was already off. I turned it on and off again. After that the D2XX file. Then i whent to the terminal and entered all the codes you gave'd me in the thread. After that i restarted my macbook and did a hard restart to exclude all errors. Everything works.
BTW wont my macbook update cause i had some changes in the directory? However it doesnt matter cause i have a macbook pro late 2012. I dont think its gonna update to El Captain anyway.

If you don't think you'll need it agin it can be deleted. I keep a copy on my system in case I'm somewhere that doesn't have internet and it's an easy way to check status if I'm troubleshooting. Any OS X date could potentially revert back to the Apple FTDI driver. So even future Yosemite updates could potentially brick USB DMX until you run control app again. That's just my thoughts and why I keep a copy
