hey guys

im completely new to light controlling and qlc+

i searched the internet for some cool stuff for my mobile dj setup and i found a post about qlc+
i wanted to control my movingheads with a software thats compatible with apple

well i got some problems now ;) i watched the tutorial videos several times but i cant make it work. i got a macbook pro with os x 10.10.4 and qlc+ 4.9.1.
i got an enttec open dmx usb and an enttec d-split.
from the dmx usb to d-split i took a 5 point dmx cable and from d-split to my led flood panel i took a 20m 3 point xlr cable. i configured my stairville led flood panel 150 to dmx 001 and 3 channel.
in qlc+ i choose "FT232R USB UART (S/N: A60301E9) for output in universe 1.
well in my case its german but it says:
this plugin supports .... no devices available
no input available
1: FT232R USB ...
device is working fine
open dmx usb
ftdi
512
30 Hz
connect to universe ...

when i get a new fixture:
i press the green +
choose led flood panel 150
3 channel
universe 1
dmx 1

then i go on functions:
press new scene
new device for scene and click on my led panel
enable all channels
click on led panel tab
whatever i do with those faders my led wont do anything. even when i click this big green play button in the top right corner.

i already tried some terminal commands for the ftdi drivers but it still does not work.

i hope someone here knows what to do. i tried to make it work by myself for a few hours now.

I renamed the topic to a more meaningful name.

What you see is the typical behaviour of conflicting drivers on OSX.
It has been discussed dozens of times in this forum (have you tried to search first ?)

It is also written in the documentation
http://www.qlcplus.org/docs/dmxusbplugin.html
and here
http://www.qlcplus.org/docs/questionsan ... -mavericks

Also, as a basic test, use the Simple Desk panel. In that way you make sure you are moving the correct channel and report a basic result.
