Hello. I try to learn qlc+ using tutorials. I connect a stairville moving head but i cant make it work with buttons i add through wizard. In simple desk it works fine but not in virtual console. I try to make button in virtual console step by step as the tutorial show manualy but it doesnt work too.

Saying "it doesn't work" doesn't help much to understand what you're doing.

A button in the Virtual Console must have a function attached, so what kind of function are you trying to control ?

That don't help either.

I can barely see that you're using Stairville MH-X25. They have a dimmer channel, so have you tried to raise it first ?

Anyway, can you please answer my question instead of replying with screenshots ?
Which function are you controlling ? Which button are you clicking ?

The only thing i do is plug the head with dmx and put it to 1st channel nothing else. I add the device in qlc+ and then i click on siple desk an it work fine. Then i go to virtual console and open the wizard to make automaticly buttons/fixtures (see screenshots) but nothing works.

stupid question - did you ever switch into Operate Mode?

As a friend of mine uses to say: 99% of all appearing errors are especially handling errors, unknown specialties in usage.
I personally don't know, how you can say on a maybe heared rattle in gobo selection, if it works or doesn't...
So please, learn also to create some functions to dim & shutter,

Otherwise: you have (perhaps, clairvoyant-globe is on repair...) trouble with FTDI-Chip & its Drivers, look to have atleast CDM v2.10.00 WHQL Certified installed

I try at home on windows 7 and all works perfectly. I save my work and open it on windows 7 and all works very well. Win10 is the problem. Thanks for trying to help. I will wait the new version to try again on win10
