4.9.1 Crashing on Win 7

I have ported shows from Mac 10.6 and Windows XP and Windows 7 onto a Windows 7 laptop. I cannot perform more than 5 operations on a show without the program abruptly stopping. This has happened on multiple files. Two of them are enclosed. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 4.9.1 twice. I do not see other people on the forum with the problem, so I am uncertain about what I might be doing wrong.

I have been having issues under windows 7. Everything is very slow for me- but I am running multiple universes of rgb matrix' - Switching from scene to scene causes QLC+ to slow down, not respond, then finally come up with the scene. If I press anything while it is doing this, it will crash.
Haven't tried it on my linux laptop yet.

Hello,
Does the crash happen only on this specific laptop ?
Does the crash happen if you remove the audio track from the show ?
Can you share the workspace file here ? thanks.
I will try to check this out when I manage to build on windows.BamBam wrote:I have ported shows from Mac 10.6 and Windows XP and Windows 7 onto a Windows 7 laptop. Did you test another OS ?xxgreenmartinixx wrote:I have been having issues under windows 7. I have tested the attached workspace files on Windows 7 and 8.
Both are relatively stable with the audio track as a .wav file.
Both are completely non-functional (QLC+ stops after 10-20 seconds, even with no user input at all) when a MIDI source is connected.
Sorry, the forum rejects the .wav file extension. I can't attach it.

I believe my issues were from the high channel count I was running - 12 Universes of about 140 rgb Pixels, plus a universe of multiple LED Fixtures. Every time I click on a scene it takes a bit to load up. Often times I will see a spinning circle or not responding. After about 30-45 seconds it will load and I can change the faders around.
If I try to clone a scene it does the same thing.
If I try to do anything while the circle is spinning a lot of times it will crash on me.
Putting scenes in a collection or cue list is fine. Everything runs smoothly once I start the cue list in virtual console.
I did try it briefly on my Linux laptop. Loading up scenes was much quicker than the windows laptop, it wasn't what I am use to dealing with when programming a single universe.
Windows Laptop: Dell Inspiron 14 - i5, 4gb ram
Linux Laptop: Old Asus running lubuntu - Pentium dual core, 2gb ram I think.
Don't have a qlc project workspace to upload due to not being near that comouter, and I know there are things I could have done different in my current project to have less scenes than I do (about 160 different scenes) but I was under time constraints.
