USB DMX works on OS X 10.6.8 but not on 10.10.2

Hello,

I have a Opto-UBSDMX device that works perfectly on a Mac Book with QLC+ 4.6.1 and OS X 10.6.8, but I have no ouput on a Mac book pro with the same QLC+ and OS X 10.10.2.

On Mac book pro, Opto-USBDMX appears, right serial number and output box is selected.

With QLC+ 4.8.5 that does not work.

Could you help me please ?

Hi, since 10.8 i think so, the Ftdi drivers change to the apple ones and, well, theres no compatibility with almost anything, but theres a quick fix for this, disable the apple drivers with the generic ones with this app. Everytime you do a system upgrade, you must disable them again.

I desable the Apple driver on OS X 10.10.2 with the Enettec App.

Then, I try the 2 versions of QLC+

with QLC+ 4.6.1 nothing happens, not output DMX
with QLC+ 4.8.5 first screen appears and the computer stops working, I have to reboot it with the power button

My DMX controler is not an Enttec, it is a generic device with FDTI chip. Do I have to buy an Enttec one ?

I encounter the same problem on OSX 10.10.X with my interface Enttec Open USB and other compatible interface.
There must be a solution but I do not have time to look
