Hello, I'm very new to QLC+ so please forgive me if I missed anything in the documentation...

I plan to use QLC+ for a drama (theater) - We use very few lights (4 or 6 maximum)

The most useful usage for me, is being able to control scene sequencing with only 2 buttons of my Beringher controller (previous / next). We will have dozens of light changes during the show.

Here is what I've done
- created scenes
- created a chaser with all the needed scenes, each entry with maintain time infinite
- created a cue list in the virtual console and affected next and previous functions to the chaser mapped to the two upper buttons of my Behringher (with auto recognize)

When in run mode, everything is ok as long as I use the mouse to click GO+ or GO-
But unfortunately with the MIDI controller reactions are quite strange, when I press one of the button sometimes it has no effect, sometimes it reacts with a very long latency. This is very annoying because we will not be able to rely on mouse/screen during the show

And just for my own understanding : in the running cue list, the highlighted blue entry is the one currently running, and the orange box entry is the next that will be played ?

Thanks in advance
Chris

Found something else... In fact I have to press each button twice to have a normal behavior.

What is the reason ?

Hi Chris,
I don't know the reason, but I had the same problem by switching chaser, functions, EFX ... off.
My solution is to put the BCF2000 buttons in "toggle off" mode with the edit button and turning encoder no. 6 to the left.
Hopefully I could help you.

Regards,
Andi
