After testing this software on a series of RGB LEDs, I have come to the conclusion that this is by far the best DMX controller on the Mac.
1- One idea I have to make it better would be the addition of a "dark" mode. The light interface is very bright in a dark room. The dark interface would keep the interface readable but less obtrusive from front of house.
2- Another idea I would like to see is the ability to select which sequence is loaded in the cue list via the use of a button. For instance, A bank of buttons would have different sequences assigned. When a button is pressed, the corresponding sequence would show up in the cue list window.
3- Another option that would be helpful is a modification to the clear button. My theory is that one click would clear out all changes made after the most resent update to a cue, two clicks would clear all running cues. This addition would help with on the fly updates to cues when the circumstance arrises.
4- On a side note, I am lost on the Audio Trigger function. I configure all the settings but cannot find where to configure the input for the audio signal. I'm not sure if I missed something.
Thanks again for a great software!
A few Ideas
Hi to you, I numbered your ideas to reply to each one.
1- work in progress. Might appear in 4.4.1 or so
2- Not sure I got this. I assume you are using mostly Cue lists, but the button-to-chaser assignment can be do with a Virtual Console button. Cue lists allow you to assign start/stop/previous/next buttons
3- I'm afraid this is not so simple, considering that not everybody use cue lists. Some other users might want an instant reset with just one click
4- Audio triggers take their input from the default audio input line. Usually a microphone. If you're on a MacBook it should work straight forward, but please confirm or deny this
