QLC+ and usbdmx.com

At the moment we are using a system with magicq, a usbdmx.com box and a pc to run our lighting set-up, however I want to use QLC+ instead. However when I run QLC+ it detects the dmx usb box, but calls it an enttec open dmx usb device, as it uses the same drivers. But it doesn't work and i'm not sure why, an help would be great as i'm new to this.

The fact QLC+ detects your adapter is good, but I'm afraid usbdmx.com devices use a custom protocol.
Which operating system are you using ?
If you use Linux I can try to support you remotely. Otherwise the only way to support a new USB device is to phisically have it.

were using windows at the moment unfortunately. is there any cheap adapter that you would recommend which would be compatible?
