Hi. Just getting the hang of lighting, am a noob. Thanks to the great work Massimo and gang.
Was wondering if there is a way already of selecting one or more fixtures of the same type and then adjusting its parameter.
Eg.
In Virtual Console create a list of fixtures say 7 channel RGB fixture, and 7 faders assigned to those fixture parameters.
Select 4 of those fixtures adjusting and the fader parameters will adjust those 4 fixtures.
I think light boards work that way. I'm really not sure if it already exists, if it does can someone please show me how.
Thanks.

My idea for this would be to create a frame for each fixture. Then put a slider in each frame and map it to the channel you want to modify with it. Then map all these sliders to the same midi fader.
You can now control all the faders with one midi button. To deselect certain fixtures use the checkbox in the title of the frame. When dechecked the frame does not accept any inputs anymore.

Hey that's an idea. For fixtures with few channels that could work I guess. Thanks.

You could also create scenes whose intensity you then adjust with the sliders in the frames. But keep in mind this will only work with the intensitys of the lights.

I use this method to get the possibility to create fixture groups that I can then select and deselect on the fly to flash them together.
