Save Issues

if I save my show files in any other folder than the QLC root directory whenever I open them again the output tab becomes blank so I can't choose the output - making the file useless - I have had this issue happen on more than one computer. is this a known issue ?
Windows 7 64bit.

Henry,

1. if your QLC+ version is older than 4.8.3 please install that version and retest
2. if it doesn't help attach your qxw file here
3. Can you add universes (big + button) when the tab is blank?

hi Jano i'm currently running 4.8.2 so i'll update my version - and yes i can add a new universe even when the tab is blank - thanks for helping me ! and i can attach my qxw file but it happens to every one of my saves - i now its not an isolated incident because i've had the same happen on another computer aswell

Henry,

I was able to reproduce. Until the problem is fixed:
if you by chance open the file by double clicking on in, please try to start QLC+ from start menu, and open the file using the icon. If you hold your mouse with button pressed a little longer, list of recent files will show up.

Please tell me if it helped.

Thanks for your help Jano, I've just been making shortcuts to the files which seems the best solution at the moment, however, I still think this is an issue that could do with fixing in the long run because i think its important to be able to save files in other locations for backups and sharing.
