Does anyone have the NanoKontrol2 working under Windows XP? I don't have midi working under Ubuntu on my Odroid-C1 yet, so am trying to use a old notebook for a gig this weekend instead. Windows recognizes and appears to properly install the driver for the Korg, but it's not showing up in the input/output section.

I've rebooted, and searched the web but not had any luck yet.

I can try with a Windows xp sp2 pro, as a virtual machine, and let you know if it works that way.

Edit: i tried, it worked... but there is no "korg nanokontrol2" in the list. The device is actually named something like "USB audio device" (sorry, i'm french, i have "Périphérique audio USB"). You should see that you have two of this usb audio device, one for the input and one for the output/feedback.

Thank you for testing that. I don't have a USB audio device showing, so that gives me a hint on what to look for.

Thanks!

Do you see it in the device manager ?
Again, I don't know the english (or whatever language) name, but it should be in the "sound, video and game controllers", with the name "usb audio device". When showing the properties of the device, we see "nanokontrol2" (see my attachment).

edit: xp sp2 ? qlc+ up to date ? does korg software recognize the device ?

I do have the usb audio device under the device manager, just nothing under QLC+.
Korg's website does say they don't support XP anymore.

I tried it on a Win7 notebook, and the Korg works great, but QLC+ is laggy, waiting up to 2s before it reacts to a mouse click, and very jumpy on sequences. It's just unusable on that notebook.

Actually, the XP notebook is jumpy too. Only the Odroid-C1 is controlling the lights well, and I can't get MIDI working on it yet. I guess I'll have to use a keyboard for now.

Thanks for your help-
