Here is my problem:
I have an home build RGB led panel 32 x 15.

When creating an sequence all goes well.
I create an RGB matrix, select circles and save it as sequence.

Now I use it in the virtual console, all works great!

Now the tricky part:
When I save the workspace and reopen it there is the problem..
Now when i recall the sequence only the upper row shows.

The problem is the same for al the patterns.

Is it possible the problem is in my panel, it is an snake shape over 3 universes.

I have attached the workspace and an picture of my panel.

Thanks.

Hello Rob,
nice job with the panel !

I opened your project and noticed one thing: the panel is split into 3 parts.
I would have said you had 15 fixtures of 32 pixel each, but it all depends on how you soldered the LED strips.

Can you please setup the monitor 2D view with the correct layout and post your project again ? I tried to do it myself but couldn't figure out the fixtures layout.

With the 2D monitor you can double check if QLC+ is working properly and exclude any fault of your panel.

Also, it would be nice to see a video of the panel in action ! :)

Hi again. You definitely found a bug.
Luckily a niche bug, when the matrix heads are not linear (e.g. panel snake rows)

It is now fixed on GIT. If you build from sources you can check the fix.
Unfortunately you'll have to create the sequences again, as even the first time you saved project it was not OK.

Just build from GIT and The bug is fixed! nice :)

This makes me wonder if the layout of the panel is wrong for an 2D view. Maybe start over with the correct layout for the 2D view. By hand correct 480 leds :)

I'll take some video shots of my panel this week, first play with it for the optimal effect.

Thanx!

Here is a link to an video of my panel in my living room. Sadly you can't see how big the panel is. If you want an video to put on the website let me know then I'll create whatever you want and sent it to you.

Very very nice Rob !
Thanks for sharing.
The circles and squares scripts look great :)

It is difficult though to make a good video with a digital camera. It happened the same to me with the RPi video. Colors get messed up.
Maybe from a different angle or with a different ambient light it could get better but I'm not sure.

If you put some video on YouTube I'll be glad to link it in the forum

It Seems that the vertical fall is broken since the bugfix.

If you create an rgb vertical fall and save it as sequence there is only one line and no more movement.

And the audio spectrum, how does it work? Whatever I'll try there is no output.
