Hello!
I recently started using QLC Plus, and I am really happy with all the possibilities it gives me. I am playing in a rock band, so I generally use the shows tab to program light shows. I import a metronome track and cue my lights to specific places on the timeline. Our drummer plays to the metronome and we end up with a synchronized light show to our music.
Now for my idea. Because I work as a video editor in a TV station, I am accustomed to placing clips on a timeline.
What will be a tremendous time saver is firstly - an UNDO command.
Secondly - If there can be a way to edit the hold, fade in and fade out times directly on the clip, which depicts the current scene on the timeline. What I mean - for example you place the mouse at the end of the clip, click and drag and thus change the hold time. Click at the top left corner of the clip, drag inwards and change the fade in time, and the same for the fade out time. This will tremendously make it more easy to program a light show that is synchronized to an audio file.
Now, I am not a programmer, so I don't know if these ideas are too complicated to be implemented in the program. But I just thought they'll make QLC Plus even easier to use.
Thank you, Massimo!
