trouble opening saved file
i have a hp probook 450 g1 laptop. i created a simple test show and saved the file to my laptop. when i went to reopen the file it said it could not find the fixture definitions. i have not had the time to create the definitions for my fixtures so i was using the generic rgb dimmer. i work for a marketing company that purchased the rgb dimmers before i was employed with them and they did not keep the packaging so i do not know the manufacturer. i am also using 2 chauvet intimidator spot 400 irc's. when i open the file it says it can't find the fixture definitions on QLC+. after i clicked ok i checked to see if the all the sliders were still in place where i set them and they were.

Please try to open the file via the "open" menu **inside** QLC+.
And...
Are you in Windows? Linux? MacOS? Which version of QLC+?
If you provide that info it's more possible to find a solution.

opening the file from inside QLC+ is the only way it will open and nothing shows up when i try to open the file from the icon. when i try opening the file by double clicking on the icon itself it said it didnt know what program to use to open it and i had to select QLC+ from a list of programs. this was right after saving the file. i am using windows 7 and QLC+ version 4.8.1
also it says that it cant find the definitions for my chauvet intimidator spot 400 irc's. even though the definitons came with the updated version of QLC+
