I've been trying to redo an old show in QLC+. One of the things in it is a reaaally slow crossfade (it's duration is of the whole show) between two scenes. This crossfade needs to be faded out at certain times but must keep running in the background even if it's at zero intensity.
My initial approach was to put two buttons within a Solo Frame and a Submaster Slider to control the intensity, however the Submaster Slider seems only to control the scene that is Fading In, not the scene that is Fading Out.
Exactly the same happens if I put a button (with a chaser attached) in a frame with the submaster slider.
With a Cue List the Submaster doesn't work at all.
The only way I've found to make the Submaster work as expected is to create a Show in the Show Manager, attaching it to a button in the VC and controlling it with the Submaster Slider.
I'm attaching a workspace demonstrating the behavior of the Submaster.
BTW I don't know if this behavior is a bug or a feature. If this is the intended behavior of the Submaster it seems a little counterintuitive.

Tested on: Ubuntu 14.04 (QLC+ 4.8.2 GIT, both QT4 and QT5), and Win7 (QLC+ 4.7.4, QT4)
Issue (maybe) with submasters not working as expected
Hi Luis,
hi all,
I think Submaster behavior is a known bug (there might be other posts here of this topic). I also run into this or a simlar problem when using scene buttons in a frame. This is a feature I would really need...but I know programming takes a lot of time so we should be patient.
Sorry if I could not help,
best regards,
Ulf
