Hello, I saw this amazing project and i have tried to test it with my custom usb DMX dongle. It failed... In the dongle is a ft232r chip, is there any support for this one? If there is, can any one tel me how to let it work?
Thanks for the support!!! :)

Hi, it's a FTDI chip so it should be supported.
Probably the only thing missing is the new USB product ID.

If you compile from sources it's quite trivial to add it. In case let me know and I'll give you intructions.

I've had a quick look at the chip datasheet. Actually the VID/PID are supported by QLC+.
Is the device even listed in the Input/Output panel or not ?

Which operating system are you using ?

Hello,
Im running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits.
When I start QLCPlus and go to the inputs/Outputs tab, I see the usb dongle in the list. The only thing is that there are none checkboxes to check so it will be a output.
When I click twice on the "DMX USB" there wil open a screen, the only buttons are "refresh" (ververs) and "quit" (sluiten). When I click on quit there appears a error...
I wil add a print screens of the steps I made.

Hello,
Yes it worked, thanks.
The only thing is that there was no checkbox behind the DMX USB the first time I tried. And when I was making the screenshots I did not look good. XD
Maybe its is because I had restart the program with the dongle plugged in.
Thanks for the help!
