Hi,
I'm Martin from Germany an i'm a light operator for theatre, rock concerts and so on. Among other things, I use the grandMA consoles, Hog consoles, ETC consoles, etc.
I searching a software for low budget productions an I found this with the qlc+. I think this is the best software for lighting control for free. But I have a few ideas to make it better.
I would like to use presets (not only cues). Presets could apply to selected fixture that you can create as groups and store in the virtual console on some buttons. These can then apply for the xy pad. So you can also the fixtures by OSC position. This work likes standard consoles like the grandMA and makes the software more suitable for live.
I hope you like my ideas.
Many greets from Germany.
a few ideas
Hello Martin,
thanks for your interest in the QLC+ project.
When coming from another lighting desk, it is most likely a terminology change.
Probably what you're looking for is already there, but just with another name.
What you call "preset" is probably what we call "Scene".
Please check the documentation and tutorials and see if QLC+ does what you need.
I'm always keen on improving the software if something is missing and actually needed by professionals.
Thanks
