Hi, i have noticed that problem:
when i have an existing Fixture, and i need edit Capabilities in channels marked as PAN, TILT and Dimmer in a moving head machine, when i save changes, appear an error that says that a channel 'PAN' (or 'TILT' or 'Dimmer') already exist.
But i don't stay coping that channel !!

i have 4.7.1 GIT Version.

thanks in advance

Can you please share the fixture ?
Version 4.7.1 doesn't allow duplicate names anymore.

i correct the thing:
that thing happen because doesn't allow duplicate names anymore.
the problem is that i don't duplicate, i'm only editing capabilities.
and happens with all cannels... before i was thinking was for channels that are in pan or tilt group

Sorry but I don't understand what you're doing.
I tried to change some channels of your fixture and I see no error here.

Can you please give more details ?

how you can see, i have modified into capatibilies the description of the value group (0-255)...
and clicking ok appear the error
only way i have to modify is to rename channel name .
i hope this is useful

Still, no problem. Have you updated your GIT version as of today ?
This bug has been present for just few hours and before releasing 4.7.1.
