Hi again,

OK....I have been experimenting with the simple desk and playback cue stacks. I notice when I am setting up channels for a cue, the channels show values on the DMX monitor. However, once I start using the cue stack...the values no longer display on the dmx monitor when i click on each of the cue stack select buttons. If I click to edit the cue, the values show again....but not when in live mode.

Is this normal for the monitor not to show values for scenes playing from the simple desk???

Hey ken,
i don't have exact the same problem, but with 4.7. my dmx monitore doesn't do anything... or you're talking about 4.6?

I am using 4.7 also.....the monitor works fine on the virtual console, etc. I just don't see any output on the simple desk when using the submasters. I see output when using the individual sliders, just not the submasters. I am presently testing it without lights, so its difficult to see if it is working correctly. I have used QLC before with virtual console on shows, and it works fine. However, for theater productions, the simple desk seems a better option. It would just be nice to know if the program is indeed sending dmx before we go down to setup at the theater......

As you haven't got lights, maybe you haven't got the DMX interface either? I believe that QLC+ doesn't show output values unless you've got an interface connected, so select one of the virtual interfaces in the input/output tab and see if that helps.

in 4.6 it showed the output values. with or without interface didn't matter.

I thought the same thing.....so I plugged my opendmx interface in to make sure. I still saw no output from the simple desk.....other sections work fine.
