freezing with osx mavericks 10.9.2

I am running OSX Mavericks 10.9.2 and 4.6.0 freezes when it gets to the fixture menu, making me have to force shutdown the computer. Am I missing something on the installation?

I've also tried 4.6.1 and the release candidate. I am unable to get output with my DMXking RDM Pro. I think it has something to do with mavericks.

I have tried it and this freezes once it gets to the home screen.

I am running 10.9.2 on mavericks. I will be happy to help. Just been a bummer not being able to work with the software lately. Keep me posted and I will do my best to help! Thank you!
