Howdy all,
I've separated my RGB and dimmer channels on my PAR cans into different fixtures, to try and give me some more flexibility. All is well, but I want to be able to use the Dimmer channel in the matrix generator to make chases that are colour independent. However, the problem I am having is that I am not able to limit the output of the RGB matrix generator to a certain value. This is a problem because above 185, my fixtures strobe, which makes any kind of fade look awful. Using a submaster in live mode is not possible because it will mess with my already delicate Submaster setup.
Thanks!
EDIT: I guess what I'm asking for is an intensity setting for the RGB matrix.

Limit highest value for RGB Matrix?
Hi,
there is a problem with supporting different cases here. I have to look at it.
The intent was that dimmer-only fixtures should also work. But then there are RGB only fixtures, and RGB fixtures with dimmer channel, and multihead RGB fixtures (LED bars) with only one master dimmer channel -- you see the problem.
Intensity setting should also work, but doesn't either...

Hi Jano,
Tried some pretty crazy workarounds today. Tried to make a single channel fixture that was a colour change with only a red channel, then changing the RGB value to 185,0,0 (185 being the highest brightness before it strobes).
Let me know if you have any ideas.

Joe, I have fixed the intensity setting in git. Now it's possible to either control matrix intensity by using a slider, or set a predefined intensity in the button's properties.
I'm now going to fix the various channel combinations (hopefully).
