Hi,
I am new at QLC+ and also new with DMX light shows. I started using QLC+ 4.5.1 and created some chase that I wanted to be controlled by the music beat ie one step forward at each beat. I followed the doc instructions for this and created a speed dial linked to the chase and then added an Audio trigger and select 1 of the frequency band and linked it to the speed dial. In 4.5.1 all this is OK and its working fine.
If I try the same in 4.6 it does not work anymore. When you try to link one of the frequency band of the Audio trigger to a VC widget (the speed dial in my case) it does not work. It keeps saying "not assigned". Linking to a DMX channel or a Function works OK.
If I load a working workspace I made in 4.5.1 into 4.6 then it's working. But if I try to change or add another link to a VC widget, it does not work in 4.6. Looks like there is some bug introduced there.
Thanks.
Marc P.
PS: I am using Windows version of QLC+.
Sound trigger config not working anymore in 4.6 ?
Sorry if this is similar to other post, but for me it is working on 4.5.1. So I thought to make a separate post for this. You can delete it if you think this post is irrelevant.
hello Marc
I found this to happen when i first upgraded too. Not sure what the glitch is but i did get it to work. What worked for me was making a change to a trigger value and I then put the qlc in operate mode. click the check mark to activate the audio trigger then go back to design mode. Its weird but it worked for me. I am on widows XP and 7
This is obviously not a fix but it allows you to use and adjust the audio trigger. I am assuming that it just has to be active to make changes until it can be corrected in the next update.

Hi,
Yes indeed, I just tried it (on Windows 8.1). After I assigned a VC widget, I closed the Audio trigger config then went to Operate, activate the Audio trigger, then back to design mode.
After that, when I open the Audio trigger config it does indicate the correct VC Widget and allows to set the divisor. Thanks for the tip.
