Hi All,

Having a great time with QLC+ thus far, it's doing way more than all the other software I've found so far (not just free, but even those costing $$$!)

I'd really like to be able to set a midi/keyboard shortcut for each page on a solo frame. This way I could have multiple banks of fixtures accessible from my MIDI keyboard. Would be super useful for setting up chases between different groups of lights (One page for lights at the front, one for those at the back, and then another for all the lights).

On a related note (no pun intended), I've noticed that when I set a midi shortcut to previous or next page, It doesn't work unless I do it while I'm in page 2, at which point the input channel name will have "Page 2" added too it. This will work in page 2, but no where else. Surely while the buttons inside the page should know they belong to that page, where as the previous/next page should be globals?

Thanks!

Although this thread is much older than my experience with QLC+ is, I want to give a suggestion on this.
I managed to achieve some way of "shortcut functionality" with the help of loopback and scripts. This is still a solution which is a bit "hacky" and I don't recommend to use it with an attached controller with motor faders very often because I'm sure the fast changes are not the best for them.

A brief explanation:
At first I set up loopback to be able to control the page switching with a script. So in the vc the prev/next button uses a script to turn the prev/next channel (Generic dimmer) in loop universe on, and after a short time, off, again. These channels in loop universe are assigned as external input for switching through the pages.

So the next thing is to switch to a particular page. The problem about that is, that we could not find out which page is active at the moment. So the only way is to go to the previous page as often as we can sure to be at the first page (this depends on the number of pages). As far as we are on the first page we just need to go to the next page until were et the desired place. In the provided workspace file I did this with four pages and as an example the shortcut works for page 3.

Note that also if were already at page 3, the script will still go to page 1 and then to page 3. Especially for many pages this could be a bit annoying and, also, time consuming.
I appreciate any further hints or ideas on this!

Till then - have fun playing around! :)
