Hello, since last few days I'm working with some LED Pars 56, a moving head and a strobe, I've found these problems with qlc+ 4.5.1, sorry.
(I don't know about the previous versions)
After pressing the "reset universe" in the simple desk, many functions involving LTP channels don't work anymore:
- in design mode - the scenes with ltp channels don't affect the output anymore
- in operate mode - the sliders and knobs with ltp channels affetc the output just during the movement itself (it doesn't matter if they're set to level or playback).
I had to reload the show to get back the normal behaviour, and this everytime I'm pressing the "reset universe", I've tested it in 2 different distros.
Before resetting the universe in design mode, when recording a scene with ltp channels, the output keeps their level forever - a kind of "tracking" but only for ltp ones - unless we record/recall a 0 values scene * or manually we sett them to 0 in the simple console, and again it is not possible anymore to change these channels recalling a scene or switching to operate mode.
*
is it really the right behaviour in design mode?
personally I'm not so convinced, wouldn't we just need to jump between different cues?
to test a sequence we have the chaser.
regards
simple console - LTP channels problems
Hi Giacomo,
I'm not exactly sure I understand, however I have had issues with 'simple desk' not responding on certain channels.
This happens when I also have a scene selected in the 'functions' tab.
If I ensure nothing is selected in functions tab then I get 'simple desk' to work OK.
Just a thought, dunno if it's helpful to you.
Rick
